Ribery Optimistic Won the Ballon d'Or 2013

Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery, claiming optimistic won the Ballon d'Or 2013. It is expressed after crowned as the best player Europe 2013.

Ribery was elected European Footballer of ousting Barcelona striker Lionel Messi and Real Madrid midfielder, Cristiano Ronaldo. The title was achieved after helping Bayern beat Chelsea in the European Super Cup match, 2013, Saturday (09/31/2013).

Ballon d'Or a record currently held by Messi who has won the title for four consecutive years since 2009. However, Ribery said sure can beat Messi in this election.

"Of course, I believe (could come out as the winner of the Ballon d'Or 2013). Years ago, I did what I needed on or off the field. I enjoyed my time with the team and I am very happy and confident," said Ribery.

Ribery achievement last season was very impressive. The Frenchman took the role of the treble winners Bayern Munich (Champions League, Bundesliga and DFB Pokal).
