Goalkeeper Lee Burge will be handed a begin in Coventry's Capital Single serving clash against Cardiff. Manager Steven Pressley confirmed that he offers to give Burge some much-needed game time, with on-loan shot-stopper Ryan Allsop dropping towards bench.
Reda Johnson and Jim O'Brien suffered knocks in Saturday's 3-2 defeat at Bradford on Saturday, but Pressley is confident are going to fit.
On the goalkeeping situation, Pressley said: "I prefer to alter the keeper, which is not do with Ryan's performance because I was thinking he was very sound with the weekend."
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will ring the alterations for Cardiff with one eye on Saturday's clash with Huddersfield.
Like Kim Bo-Kyung, Magnus Eikrem, Guido Burgstaller and Kevin Theophile-Catherine will all make their first starts on the season while Spanish striker Javi Guerra looks set for his Bluebirds bow at Sixfields.
Fellow summer signings Kagisho Dikgacoi and Federico Macheda look unlikely for making their debuts inside the televised clash but are anticipated to be fully easily fit in time with the visit on the Terriers to south Wales a few days ago.
Former Sky Blues favourite Ben Turner (ankle), and Craig Noone (groin) stay with the sidelines while Joe Mason joined Bolton using a season-long loan on Monday.
